Hi
I have a cisco switche WS-C4503E-S6L-E
i need to upgrade from LAN-base image to IP-base image. Do i need any licence from cisco for that?
Also i want to order a new switch WS-C4503E-S7L-E.
I know that i need to apply a licence for IP-base image on WS-C4503E-S7L-E, How mush it cost (approximately) to get the licence of IP-base image.
Another question: can i run the classical IOS image on WS-C4503E-S7L-E insted of the IOS XE?
regards
Sufyan

Yes you would need a license to upgrade to a different feature set. You would have to get prices from a cisco rep.

Doesn't matter. If you need to download software from the Cisco website, you will need to have a valid Service Contract tied to the serial number of your appliance(s).
