Cisco CPP keeps Showing that Internet Explorer does not have Java enabled

Hi, I've been having troubles getting CCP to run on Windows 7, with IE 11 installed on my system. I'm using Java version 1.6_17 and I have flashed installed for version 10. The application loads properly, is able to discover networks, but is unable to configure interfaces. When trying to configure an interface, firewall, ect., it displays the error "Java is not enabled, refer to your Internet Explorer Documentation". Any help resolving this issues would be appreciated.

Hi,

I have CCP Desktop 2.8 running on SRV2012-IE11 with Java 7.1Update17

Java 7.1Update17 has to be a 32-bit version and you will not see it in the control panel under java.

Just verify it  :   http://javatester.org/version.html

Put your router IP in (see comp.gif and popup.gif)

You should be able to get it running under W7-64 and W7-32.

For the whisssssss that reads this,,,............I have a different problem:

I want the CCP Express admin to run on the Router with

IOS : c870-advipservicesk9-mz.124-15.T17.bin

Tar file is extracted on Flash in CCPexp folder and home.shtml is in the root.

I renamed the home.shtml to something and then connect....

So far so good......see pic rout-no-home

Rename home..... to home.shtml and start again......login etc. >>>>>

Looks like it goes well......but error's....

Netxt I click a sub feature .....and all comes to an end with ERROR'S   .!!!!

Does any one have a clue why this is not working ?

WKR,

Eduard

Problem solved......   IOS version has to be above  124-15.T17.bin

>>>> for example 151-4.M9.bin

Also using Firefox 43.xxx

REMARK :

It looks like a combination issue,,,,.,.,.,.,...,.

So for now I will use the Desktop 2.8 version and CLI >>>>>

GUI installed on Router is has to many shortcomings  -:(
