Hello,

I came across a bargain offer for a new Cisco-Meraki-MS120-8LP-PoE. What I need is a simple PoE switch to allow to boot a Cisco AIR AP1800. So I am not interested in the fancy cloud features or Dashboard thing management. I ask if is it possible to manage this switch via CLI or web interface and if the cloud support License is strictly needed otherwise  the switch won't work. I am not even interested actually to configure it,  if it works as a trivial switch out of the box. What I need is PoE working. thank you.

To use this switch you will need to purchase a PDU licence in addition to the switch itself plus this switch model is poe itself it doesnt have an external power supply, So if you only want power for a single access-point then i would say a cisco AP power injector would be applicable.

For your needs, I would go for an 8-Port Catalyst 1000.
