Hi guys,
I'm having the issue with a SF302-08MP switch that boots when he receives POE from another switch.
Even when he has power from the original power-supply, he still runs on the received POE. When this occurs he doesn't take power from the power-supply and so can't give POE to the other devices which are connected to this switch and demand POE
I've already did an upgrade on the Bootversion and OS-version
SW version 1.4.9.4 ( date 04-Jun-2018 time 00:07:58 )
Boot version 1.3.5.06 ( date 21-Jul-2013 time 15:12:10 )
Would we be able to disable this "feature", cause this is very annoying...
And I don't have this on issue on a PP-version...
Thanks in advance!

Hi Pieter,
This is the command to disable the POE-output...
The issue is that this switch receives POE from another switch and boots up. But it should never boot up from POE receiving from another switch

Hi Bjorn,
Yes I know it is to disable supplying power TO a device
it is also NOT meant that the switch receives power from an external device and in the process disable its internal power supply.
as such you would never be able to connect two PoE switches together.
but did you try if it behaves differently?

alternatively you can try a galvanic isolator
