Hi, I have been trying to get some startech SFP(ar-sfp-10g-sr-st) to work with cisco switches. Plugging in the SFP leads to an invalid CSC/unsupported SFP error.
I have already ran de workaround service unsupported-transceiver and no errdisable detect cause gbic-invalid .. but unfortunately the SFP's are still in "bad csc/unsupported". I have updated the switch firmware to the latest version but made no difference. My other SFP from draytek (455-0000007-01) and d-link (DEM 310gt v.e1) are detected after running the workaround commands..
Is there anything else I can try ? Is there any other SFP that will work(any recommendations, other then the overpriced cisco sfp?) ?
