Cisco switch 3560 X port issue.

Dear sir,

In our compass we using Cisco switch 3560 X 48 port switch. now we facing problem like. Automatically some switch port not working. After switch restart or port restart (hard or soft reboot), port will be work for some days again same problem.We using IP-COM AP's in hostel rooms.... Any configuration issue????

Hi,

Have your verify if an increased storm control is detected?

Also I recommend to configure maximum and minimum for broadcast and multicast like you did for unicast. Try to use 50.00 and 20.00

Once the situation arises try to verify the status of the interface through show int status or show ip int brief. 

What is your IOS?
