Solved: CISCO switch not upgraded even after reload

I tried to upgrade the 2960L switch with latest IOS release but even after reload it not upgraded. What was the reason for same?

I can almost guarantee the15.2(7)E7 BIN file is corrupt. Just look at the file sizes between 15.2(7)E6 and 15.2(7)E7 -- The newer version is smaller (which should not be the case).

try removing the "/" in the boot variable

BOOT path-list : flash:c2960cx-universalk9-mz.152-7.E5.bin
