Hi All,
I have one query regarding the virtual switching system, I have port channel running between the switches for the VSL, but have not configured Dual active detection.
Query :- Is it really recommended to have the Dual active configured when we have the Port channel (2 physical links) running between switches.
Any suggestion is highly appreciated !!!

Hi,
Yes, you need to have dual-active detection configured. You can use an existing Portchannel connecting to your access switches (epagp) or fast-hello which requires a 1Gig interface on both switches and a cable connecting them together.
