Cisco WS-6500 VSS with ICMP Unreachable

Hello,

Cisco IOS Software, s72033_rp Software (s72033_rp-IPSERVICESK9_WAN-M), Version 1                                                                             2.2(33)SXI4a, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc2)

We use two cisco WS-C6506-E as our Core Routers. The Routers are running in VSS mode. These Routers are connected via Trunk to several other Cisco Switches in the different Buildings which are connectes to the Cores via Ether Channel. So far this works very well.

Now we have the Problem, that the Core is not sending ICMP ureachable Messages, if  we Ping from one VLAN into the other and the target Host is Down.

I'm not sure what I have to do, to enable this feature.

The only Option I found was:

CORE(config)#interface vlan 122

CORE(config-if)#ip unreachables

But this is activated on every VLAN.

Is there any other Option I have to enable?

Regards,

Benjamin

Sorry for pushing this. But this is important, otherwise DNS round-robin will not function correctly.
