Cluster Fortigate with CIsco Switch

Hi mates,

I am creating a Cluster Active-Passive Fortigate with two Heartbeat interface through CIsco Switch. My trouble is that don'w know if this Cisco switch support the ethertype 0X8890 that is used by Fortigate to create the Heartbeat interfaces on Nat / route mode.

Hello Alfredo,

It depends on which switch you are utilizing.  Just to cite an example, Cisco N5K/Nexus switches do support 0x8890, but only for certain functions.  Do you have more information about the switch you are utilizing?
