compabality with rsp720 with Cisco 6509

Understood, but the reference and the extracted information I provided, notes that only some 7600 chassis support the RSP720, which implies that none of the 6500s are supported, i.e. likely won't function.

Hi,

RSP 720 is not supported on 6500s, its supported only on 7600 chassis.

Cisco 7600 chassis supports both - SUP 720 adn RSP 720.
