hi, can any1 tell me a free tool ( windows ) to take bulk configuration backup, i found cirrus to be extremely useful but its not free so if any1 can help me out in this ?

hi jon, sorry its not working, i tried everything but this tool is not working at all, i defined seperate username and password on acs for it but still the same error cannot enter enable mode, is there any other tool plz ?

I don't know of anything that is free . Get your employer to dish out a little money if the network is important at all to them . Kiwi is one of the better moderately priced tools. Ciscoworks will also do this but is pricey . Kiwi should work if its configured correctly. another one to check is the Solarwinds line of tools network tools.

RANCID is FREE. I used it to backup Cisco
Routers, Switches, VPN3k, Pix, ASA, Juniper
Firewalls, Checkpoint Firewalls, etc...
It is the best tool out there beating
every other comercial products out there.
