Configuring Comcast HSI with Cisco 2811 ISR

Hello all,

I'm configuring a Cisco ISR 2811 for my voice gateway and internet router, however I'm running into issues with speed. I set both cable modem ports and router ports to 100MB and Full Duplex and something is still causing it to be slow. I tried to adjust MTU on the FA0/0 but still it's very slow. I know it's not the connection because I plugged the comcast into my Domain Controller and it was pretty quick...So what am I missing configuration wise?

Is your router acting as a firewall? thats been known to slow things down a bit.

No just only a gateway.

I'm also using a 2811 with Comcast and my speed seems fine..  36m up and 6.5m down.  Have you tested it with speedtest.net?  What version of IOS are you on?
