Hi all, can anyone tell me what route people use to get to the firewall, would they plug it directly to the core switches and have a seperate vlan, and also when connecting servers, if they have 2 network cards teamed to 1, would I plug one into one distribution switch and the other card in another, what would be the best way for resiliance for the servers

many thanks guys

Hi,

People are using Static or default route with natting.

router {Eo}---> {Outside}Firewall{Inside}--> Access or Distribution switch.

Router: Default route to ISP

E0 natting indide

Firewall : Acl and Nat on inside to outside for both subnets.

Switch id L3/Distribution: Point to inside firewall

If L2 / Access: Create two Vlan - and connect it.
