Define gw on vlan

We have a setup of 60 VLAN. The Servers on the network are defined into three environments - Production, Staging and Development. We have now set up a Firwall for Staging which we want to use as the GW for Staging and Development.

Today all traffic is routed trought the mail production Firwall.

We are using  a Core consitant of 6 WS-C3750E-48TD Switches. Today al VLAN's are set up to use the same last resort gateway. All network traffic is splitted up in vlan.

If someone knows how to fix this help is greatly apreciated.

Hi,

if you want to set the gateway of a specific vlan to firewall, then create a interface vlan on the firewall. The end devices should have the gateway as the interface vlan ip in firewall.

Create a vlan in the switch, so that it will pass the traffic to the firewall which is the gateway.
