DHCP Option 82

Hi everybody!

I'm wondering, will the built in switch in a cisco IP phone insert option 82 like a normal switch would? Meaning would i have to trust the interface the phone was connected to on that account?

Not possible.  The "switch" port of the phone is for "pass through" only.
