Hi guys,
Totally i created the 10 VLAN in my cisco 3750 switch. All other VLAN DHCP IP's (192.168.2.X - 192.168.10.X) will be release from the DHCP server except VLAN1
In my 3750 switch i created DHCP pool(192.168.14.X).... and i assainged to VLAN10....
but one of the client is assaigned to VLAN 2(192.168.2.X) configuration. but its getting IP from the cisco DHCP instead of DHCP server.
any guess why like this happen...
Regards,
Naveen

Hi,
does the client in vlan 2 (192.168.2.x) has a correct default gateway?
Can you post the DHCP config from the switch?

Is the client directly connected to the switch (versus IP Phone trunked with native vlan for computer) ? are other clients able to obtain a DHCP address from VLAN 10?
If there are clients who are able to obtain an address for VLAN 10 correctly, then it is not a DHCP configuration issue. If it is only this client, I suspect it has to do with the switchport access VLAN assigned to this port.
For the port that this client is connected to, perform "show run int interface-here" and "show interface interface-here switchport". This will display what VLAN the port is configured for.
Also, do you have multiple DHCP servers in that VLAN?
