Difference between LAN Base, IP Base, and Enterprise IOS

Can you give light on this?

What are differnces between these three IOS'? I have read differences between IP Base and Ent. IOS. Does LAN Base IOS 4500-E switch doesn't Layer 3 routing capability?

Hi,

You can think LAN base is subset of IP Base, and IP Base is subset of Enterprise. LAN base is L2 only; IP Base supports basic L3 function; enterprise supports all L3 functions.
