I have a weird problem, 2 switches on the same network and subnet. 1 switch can reach our groundworks server on a different subnet the other switch is unable to reach the same groundworks server.

When showing IP route these are the only differences below.

Switch1 (Not Working)

Host                   Gateway            Last Use    Total Uses       Interface

                                    xx.xx.15.32          xx.xx.99.3       0:00           303                  Vlan99

                                    xx.xx.99.1            xx.xx.99.2        0:00         50502                Vlan99

(My Workstation)          xx.xx.15.120        xx.xx.99.3       0:00           541                   Vlan99

(Groundworks Server)  xx.xx.15.99         xx.xx.99.2       0:02         14032                Vlan99

Switch2 (Working)

Host               Gateway           Last Use    Total Uses       Interface

                                        xx.xx.15.32         xx.xx.99.3            0:00           177            Vlan99

(My Workstation)              xx.xx.15.120       xx.xx.99.3            0:00           359            Vlan99

(Groundworks Server)      xx.xx.15.99        xx.xx.99.3            0:01         12642        Vlan99

Could "Arp" be the offending item?

Switch1

has arp entry of 99.2 & 99.3

Switch2

only has arp entry of 99.3

Reload solved the problem.
