Hi,
I have a few 3750 L3 switches with a L3 interface connected to the ISP switch and a default route pointing out to this interface - one in each branch. I am seeing discarded packets on the switch as well as reported by OpManager, but not more than 1%.
Is this normal? what would cause it?
There is no speed/duplex mismatch. There are no errors.
Thank you

it's not normal that you have discard. Did you check if the port doesn't have a failure you can try to change the link to another port. Some months ago I have a similar situation and there Was a damaged port.
Another thing you can check is the BW and the current amount of traffic that is carryin

The BW spikes often to 90-100% on the interface during work hours on one switch; but, on the othe one there is plenty of BW available, yet there are still discarded packets.
