I have a DPC3941T modem/router which is configured and seems to be working correctly. However, if I connect to the admin interface on the router and then disconnect, subsequent attempts to connect get a timeout failure, "The server at 10.0.0.1 is taking too long to respond." In order to reconnect to the router, I have to pull the power and force a restart. Once that is done, I can again connect to the router one time - then it is back to pulling the power. The router is up and passing traffic both wireless and wired, and I can ping the router address with less than 5mS delay. Does anyone have any suggestions about what might be causing this problem and how to reconnect to the modem without having to power cycle it?
