DTP on Small Business SG500 Switches

We have a few SG500 stackable managed switches but we also have a C3850 and a number of C3560s.  Of course the IOS environment differs a little on all devices but something I have stumbled across is that the SG500 series doesn't seem to like CDP.  I set the C3850 links to dynamic desirable but could not execute a command on the SG500 links for dynamic auto so it learns the VLANs automatically.  Is there a way to overcome this?

Hi sg500s or most smb switches do not support vtp like catalyst so it will not work between catalyst and smb , they do support gvrp for automatic vlan transfer between each other in smb but 38s wont support that in ios-xe so if your bridging these two types of devices you will need to manually manage the vlans
