Hi All,
I am recently have dual N9K connection into two building, one on building 1 & another on building 2.
The N9K on building 1 would be on Core layer, handle all layer 3 and layer 2 function.
The another N9K on building 2 would be layer 2 function only, and forward traffic to N9k on building 1.
The two N9K connect without vPC, but only etherchannel trunk with mode on.
On this situation, does there any possible problem would be presented on later?
Please see the attachment.

Hi,
This design should work fine. The only thing I can see is that you don't have any redundancy. So, if the core switch in building 1 fails, you will have no connectivity between the buildings and the server farm.

Hi Reza Sharifi ,
Thank for reply.
But if Building 1 is using N93180 & building 2 is using 9348, does it any limitation of the above design?
Or it is better if I config and use vPC between this two device?
Thanks

Hi,
vPC is not going to be effective unless you connect the 2960 from building 2 to both 9300s in building 1 as well. Right now that 2960 connects only to building 2.
