ESP0 QFP DRAM (97%) State Critical

Please help, because when I executed the command "show platform resources" I noticed that the DRAM QFP shows a critical status with 97% of use.

What is the reason for this usage, could it be a memory leak?

Greetings.

Upgrade the router firmware to the latest 16.9.X release.  Avoid 16.10.X and later.  Avoid 17.X.X and later.  Stick with 16.9.X.

Cannot decipher the Traceback (but TAC can), however, I think this could be CSCvi90964.

We want to see this file.

Upgrade the firmware to the latest 16.9.X.  Currently, the router is on 16.9.2 and I do not consider that version to be stable enough.

EDIT:

I reviewed the output.  The data-plane memory utilization of RP0 is extremely high.

Post the complete output to the command "sh process memory platform sort location r0".

Hello, Thanks

Why avoid those two code versions? Is there anything on cisco's website or is that just from your experience? Thanks!

Cisco Smart License starts from 16.10.X.  Avoid another reason to crash the router by not using a version that has Smart License.
