Etherchannel load balancing

I have a 6500 with a Sup2 running hybrid

1) Does Sup2 support etherchannel using L4 information?

2) If not, what's my best choice for equal distribution over the four links making up my port channel?

set port channel all distribution {ip | mac |

session | ip-vlan-session} [source | destination |

It depends on the type of traffic. If it's user communication to proxy server, than source IP. If it's proxy server to user, than destination IP. If it's a large L2 topology, than SRC/DST mac.

And so on. Where there is most variables.
