Etherchannel - Using SM and MM together?

I've never done this before but a co-worker is wondering if you can use 1 SM link and 1 MM link in a single port channel. They are both 1gb.

I don't think it matters as long they are both equal speed .

That's what I am thinking too but couldn't find it in any documentation...I doubt it will be.
