Hi folk,
i recently ran into a problem with a ASA Service Module in a Cisco 6500.
To fully understand the problem, I search for an explanation of "VPIF" and - advanced - what exactly means "NOT_FOUND".
I tried to find something in the cisco docs, but I didn't even found the unabbreviated words for it.
Setup:
cisco WS-C6506-E with VS-SUP2T-10G 5 ports Supervisor Engine 2T 10GE w/ CTS Rev. 1.5
and
WS-SVC-ASA-SM1 3 ports ASA Service Module Rev. 2.0
IOS: Version 15.2(1)SY2
ASA OS: 9.2(4)5
The counters of VPIF "NOT_FOUND" are increasing really fast and have exceeded the 640mio.
