Giant Errors cisco 7609

Hi Team,

I have a query about "Giant errors" on cisco 7609 router.The connectivity is between two cisco 7609 routers 

What could be the issue ?

Note: I have "IP MTU 1500" configured under this interface .

I only see the giant errors are increasing show below.
