Hardware Suggestion Required.

I need Hardware upgrade suggestion.

We have currently Cisco Switch 6509 acting as Core and 7204VXR as edge router for WAN connectivity. These are fullfulling my current requirements for now but there are LAN / WAN expensions in neat future so I need to procure hardware keeping in view next 5 years. Can some one please advise me what hardware should i go for.
