Bill, you can configure 2811 as a dhcp server through command syntax, I have not seen a link providing example configuration for ios dhcp feature through sdm.

I have a similar router: a 2821 adv. sec bundle.
There are two ways of configuring DHCP on it:
a) Using SDM - I will get back to that
b) Using the command line (almost all Cisco switches and routers running IOS can be configured to serve as DHCP servers. It is a feature of the IOS).
Where can you find DHCP server config in SDM:
- open SDM
- on the top click "Configure"
- on the left side click on "Additiona Tasks"
- in the list, click on the + sign next to "DHCP"
- select "DHCP Pools"
- click "Add..."
Have fun :)
