I have never completed a Supervisor or module upgrade on the cisco WS-C6509-E and I need some advice.
Reason for potential upgrade from SUP32 to SUP 720-10G:
We have got two WS-X6708-10GE cards and need to expand our fiber backbone.. However after reading online I believe the Sup32 which we have currently installed does not support the WS-X6708-10GE.
I am looking to purchase 2x Cisco VS-S720-10G-3C. Before doing so, I thought i'd throw the question out here to see what advice you could give me.
Is this the correct supervisor to use with WS-X6708-10GE ?
What steps will I have to take to ireplace the currently running SUP32 with Cisco VS-S720-10G-3C??
