Help Connecting My "At-home CCNA lab"

Hello,

I recently purchased a CCNA study switch,  (3560 (2) a router (1841) , and two 2801 Integrated circuit routers from Amazon so that I may practice

and study for the CCNA in real time, I downloaded tera-term but every time I get a prompt that says "connection timed out" and than closes.

I cannot install my switches and routers without it. What are my options? Please help. I have included as many pics as possible to indicate

what I have as in equipment. Thanks so much.

Hi

You can use putty terminal to connect via console or remotely via telnet or SSH. You can use the default settings. Also you need to verify the COM port (If you are using usb-serial converter) used by your computer through the device manager. If you have the proper cable and connected to you computer, everything should work fine. Please see the attached picture.
