We need a help in CSM (Content Switching Module).
I having two site & one is datacenter another one is disaster Recovery Center. Now they are running IAS server for web services on both the location. The current setup is they are doing load balancing on this web server by using Microsoft feature called Network load balancing (NLB). These servers are connected to Cat 6500 switches with redundancy.
Design
2 Cat 6500 switches
Server are connected both the switches for redundancy
The current setup is
Microsoft Network Load Balancer
OS - Windows 2003 Enterprise with Sp1
NLB is configured on Single Affinity mode for Multiple Host & Cluster Operation Mode set is Multicast.
Port Range 0 - 65535
Enabled protocol - TCP & UDP
Now I want to remove this NLB features on this server & do the load balancing from the new Module CSM which I am going to insert in the Cat 6500 switches.
Requirement on CSM
URL & Port based load balancing for Web Server
How I can archive the above requirement in the CSM. Please guide me step by step procedure for CSM installing in the Cat switches as well as load balancing function.
