Hi!

Due to demand of new features I upgraded Cisco3662AC router from 12.2 GD release to the last 12.3 GD and obvserved that after a period of working cpu usage grows to ~80-90%. The cause is TTY background process. This is output:

C3662#sh proc cpu sorted

CPU utilization for five seconds: 54%/5%; one minute: 58%; five minutes: 59%

I tried the recomandation posted on site (no syncronous logging) but it does not help.

I also tried to change software several times (12.3. GD releases) but result is the same.

Bugtrack show that this type of behaivor was corrected long time ago but it seems that it is still not corrected.

What can I do else to avoid this problem?

Thanks

You may try giving command "no logging console" and see if it helps.
