IPv6 and CAM

I'm in the process of setting this up in a lab environment, but while I'm doing this I'd thought I'd ask here.. When I have a host configured with an IPv6 address connected to a switch, what will I see in the CAM for that device? Will I see the standard 48-byte MAC address, or will I see the 64-byte v6 link local address of the NIC?

you will see 48-byte MAC address in Switch CAM, since Switch is layer 2 device and it can only understand MAC address. IP address (IPv4 and IPv6) is layer 3 logical address.
