High CPU utilization in 3560G-24TS

Hi All,

getting CPU utilization around 62% 

CPU utilization for five seconds: 54%/6%; one minute: 61%; five minutes: 61%

The selected template optimizes the resources in

the switch to support this level of features for

8 routed interfaces and 1024 VLANs.

number of directly-connected IPv4 hosts: 3K

number of indirect IPv4 routes: 8K

number of IPv4 policy based routing aces: 0.5K

number of IPv4/MAC security aces: 1K

Please let me know what could be the reason?

    Your RIP timers should not be taking almost 24% of the utilization.  Check config for RIP setup. Make sure you don't have more than 8 routed interfaces . Your release is a very old unsupported release at this point , might want to think about updating it and reload the switch.
