Hi, we have a small site from around 100 people that access a web server to make PHP/MySQL Queries. I noticed that in the 5 Catalyst Express 500 switches normally CPU is around 15%-20% but memory has around 70% and in some switches 90% to 92%. I was wondering if this high memory utilization could affect switching performance for the application. We have made some stress tests passing HUGE files between VLANS, to the DMZ, etc, with success obtaining very high speeds, but sometimes the application gets slow during operation.
As I said the application is running PHP/MySQL and AJAX and it is in a DMZ passing through an ASA 5510 with CSC-SSM10, so it makes a lot of queries to Database and sometimes get very slow.
Any help is greatly appreciate it :)
