I want to know if my SFP is working excellent or has problem . When I type show interface fc1/2 transceiver details it is showing follow output :

fc1/2 sfp is present
Name is CISCO-FINISAR
Manufacturer's part number is FTLF8529P3BCV-CS
Revision is A
Serial number is FNS222722SY
Cisco part number is 10-2666-01
Cisco pid is DS-SFP-FC16G-SW
FC Transmitter type is short wave laser w/o OFC (SN)
FC Transmitter supports short distance link length
Transmission medium is multimode laser with 62.5 um aperture (M6)

Thanks. As I said I want to know how can find out sfp health status for example which parameter is important ? Tx Power , Rx Power , ..... ? Which item can show SFP health status is not ok ?

 - I don't think there is anything else available for SFP's , the health comes down to the status (ok or not)
of the optical  link  that it is serving. Tx and Rx parameters depend on the optical link quality.
Recently I had a post from a customer with EEPROM failing on an SFP. You won't find tests for EEPROM on...
   (RMA was the only option)

If your SFP has "problems", they will likely show in the basic show interface stats.

As to working well, Tx and Rx should be within their normal operating ranges, especially Rx.  Notice in your stats, you don't have any high or low alarms, or even high or low warning flags.

For advanced SFP stats, you need a transceiver transceiver that supports/provides DDM/DOM.  If you research that as a subject, I suspect you'll find information how to best interpret such transceiver stats, such as this.

Hello @BabSimon ,

the SFP looks like fine :

>> Tx Power -2.93 dBm 1.70 dBm -13.00 dBm -1.30 dBm -9.00 dBm
>> Rx Power -4.53 dBm 3.00 dBm -15.90 dBm 0.00 dBm -11.90 dBm
>> Transmit Fault Count = 0

Being a Fiber channel port you can check errors statistics on interface but you should be fine, physical layer SFP is fine from what we can see above.

Hope to help

Giuseppe
