How to block WebMessenger, skype, msn messenger

You should block the ports used by applications you want to block.

Skype:

http://www.skype.com/help/guides/firewall.html

Messenger:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=/servicedesks/webcasts/wc071702/WCT071702.asp

and

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/isa/2000/maintain/isaimsec.mspx

And so on. Look for them in the search engines. Alternatively, you can sniff the traffic to see which ports the application uses.

Also, you should restrict port 80 to HTTP traffic only.
