currently mgmt svi and ip default-gateway are on 10.117.20.x and wanted to have them changed to 10.120.20.x

any suggestions to make this smooth is much appreciated.

Thank you as I look forward to reading f

good suggestion

Hello

You a have few options:

  1. console on the switch
  2. remote access the switch from the L3 core sourcing the connection from its own SVI
  3. provide the switch with a default route  ( If only ip routing is enabled)
  4. make the changes to a txt file, install that file (tftp) to the flash of the switch and then copy that file from the flash to the running-config of the switch, save the changes
  5. Access the switch from a neighbor switch via its l2 mac address using clustering ( very doubtful this one as its an OLD hack that wonā€™t be supported in new switches and software)

Please rate and mark as an accepted solution if you have found any of the information provided useful.
This then could assist others on these forums to find a valuable answer and broadens the communityā€™s global network.

Kind Regards
