Hi,
I'm using a Cisco 2600 router. I'm trying to figure out if there is any way for me to change a user password without typing the enable command. I like to secretely save that password so it will not be used by anybody else.
Thanks,
Fikrie

If you're wanting to change a local user's password on the device without being at the global prompt, the answer is no. You can however change a user's password if you're using tacacs/radius to authenticate users though.
HTH,
John

Just wondering, by using tacacs/radius. Do you mean using the "aaa authentication enable"?
