Hi expert,
Just wondering is it possible to connect UCS FI directly to C2960S using Twin Ax Cable (3M long) ?
Was given a task to test it out, hope you experts could lend a hand
Cheers

Hi,
It does work with UCS. As for the 2960 series, it appears Twinax is compatible with 2960 series:

You may want to try one anyway since they are a lot cheaper than fiber patch cords and SFP+

Hi Reza,
Thank for the information Greatly appreciated it alot.
However, i been encountered the following error while i connect Cisco Twin Ax (Cisco Branded) cable from FI to 2960S.
*Mar 1 00:32:22.764: %GBIC_SECURITY_CRYPT-4-ID_MISMATCH: Identification check failed for GBIC in port Gi1/0/25
*Mar 1 00:32:22.764: %PHY-4-UNSUPPORTED_TRANSCEIVER: Unsupported transceiver found in Gi1/0/25
Tried using the following commands as well as upgrade to latest IOS (15):
service unsupported-transceiver
no errdisable detect cause gbic-invalid
Still recevied the same error as above.
Should i be configuring trunk port on interface1/0/25 or ? i am confuse somehow =(
Hope to hear from you soon
Cheers
