How to configure Kompella l2vpn between cisco devices.

Dear All ,

I want to know how to configure kompella l2vpn between 2 cisco devices in CISCO IOS. We know Martinna l2vpn type runs on LDP.

but kompella runs on BGP. I need the configuration for same..

Pls help me in this...

Hello Amol,

I may be wrong, but AFAIK Kompella L2VPN is not supported on Cisco devices.

Cisco uses LDP based L2VPN and LDP based VPLS. Later a BGP autodiscovery feature for VPLS has been added but it uses a different AFI/SAFI then BGP based VPLS.

Kompella L2VPN and BGP based VPLS are supported by Juniper devices.
