I would like to know/ get any guide how to configure a password for user with SHA256 Encryption in Nexus 9000

From the above document: "Beginning with Cisco NX-OS Release 10.3(1)F, the type 8 and type 9 password hash is supported on Cisco Nexus 9000 Series switches."

but the command it's not working, and I have only to choose 0,5,word
how can I set 8?
I mean SHA-256 Hash

I would assume your firmware is too old and SHA-256 *Hash* is not implemented in that version yet. What are you running?
