Hi All, usually we send multicast streaming through router. If we just send multicast within one same lan, how can we control the traffic ? Any one can give some suggestion or link? Thank you

Hi
You can use administrative scoping:

What kind of control?
Reason I ask, hosts, if there's a IGMP querier, will indicate what multicast they wish to receive, and if you have an IGMP snooping switch, the switch will not forward multicast to ports that have not indicated they desire it.
