Hello
Please I need your guidance on how to configure my cbs 350 trunk port not to have auto-negotiation. I saw the settings on port management and when I deactivate auto-management on the trunk port, then I lost connection to my router totally and all the vlans will be down until I activate auto-negotiation on trunk port again. Please how do go about this.
Thanks

Hello,
I have checked the entire CLI, I don't think that command/option is available at all. Keep in mind that the CBS switches feature a stripped down IOS version. What do you want to accomplish with deactivating auto-management ?

Hello Georg.
What I really want to do is get another level of security on my network as am new to cisco switch and during my study I got to know that its best practice not to make your trunk port have auto-negotiation when plugged in. In the GUI, there is a setting in port management to not auto-negotiate or not. But it just will not not work when you chose the port not to do auto-negotiation.
