Hi,
I am trying to capture traffic for a particular VLAN. I tried to do the following:
Torsaa-mls1(config)#monitor session 2 source interface vl
Torsaa-mls1(config)#monitor session 2 source interface vlan1
^
% Invalid input detected at '^' marker.
.....
So VLAN are not supported. Is there any other way to accomplish this?
Thanks

The 3560 does support vlans as the source. I think it may be your configuration ie. -
Torsaa-mls1(config)#monitor session 2 source interface vl
Torsaa-mls1(config)#monitor session 2 source interface vlan1
don't use the interface and vlan commands together. The command syntax is -
"monitor session source vlan
