Hello,

We had purchased the following license for our WAN router to activate certain features.

L-FL-39E-HSEC-K9

My Question is -

1. Does these licenses have any expiry ? And that i need to renew them on regular basis ?

2. Is there any support (SmartNET kind) required for this license if i need help from Cisco TAC ?

Hi Amol,

There is no expiration on the license. Once you pay for it and install it, there is no more renewal involved.

As far as SmarNet contract, yes, when you pay for the license, you are covered when you call TAC.

You need smartnet on the device. The software license as pointed out earlier is a one time cost.
