The IE5000 supports IRIG-B as input for timecode to be PTP-clock. However, only with the IEEE extension 1344 or C37.118 IRIG timecode contains leap second information and time figure of merit data.
If the time code supplied at the IRIG-B input is according to the IEEE 1344 extension, does the IE5000 use the additional leap second and/or TFOM information as the PTP/NTP clock?
