IGMP Versions

Hello:

My customer wants to know if my switches support IGMPv3. How can I give him an accurate answer? How can I check. I thought if it supports 1 version of IGMP it supports all three?

Hi Ashley

This will really depend upon the IOS version you're running.

The best option is to go to the Feature Navigator, select Research by Feature and then filter on IGMP Version 3. If you highlight IGMP version 3 in the left window, select + Add, and then Continue you can then go on and filter further by platform or IOS version.

Let me know how you get on, otherwise provide some further details of the platform and IOS version you have and we can see what we can find.
